Thanksgiving Recipe Roundup

Retweet This Retweet this post!

Below, a compendium of recipes you can use for Thanksgiving – focused on side dishes and other additions to your Thanksgiving party. And be sure to check out what my good friends at the Eat Well Guide are up to – they’ve partnered with Consumer’s Union (part of Consumer Reports) to create the Local, Organic Thanksgiving Challenge – which challenges you to use at least one locally produced product in your Thanksgiving meal. Use the Eat Well Guide to make it easier to find local farms and markets selling good stuff for Thanksgiving. Remember to have fun in the kitchen!

Mashed Potatoes
Roasted Romanesco Cauliflower
Swiss Chard with Cumin and Chilies
Kale and Ricotta Salata Salad
Cranberry Sauce with Bourbon
Cheddar-Sage Biscuits with Homemade Butter
Apple Pie with Boiled Cider (check out the How to make pie dough page first)
Pumpkin Oat Muffins (good for a light Thanksgiving morning breakfast!)
Sweet and Sour Mix (you need a good cocktail to get through it all)
