Gorgeous colors. I’m totally with you on staying in on Valentine’s. Set menus with raised prices – no thanks. Love the ouzo suggestion in the sorbet served with candied fennel – a very complimentary combination.

That’s gorgeous! I wish I could get kumquats around here. I love their shape – they look like little wheels! I love the concept of candying fennel, too…that sounds good.

Wow. SOOOOO good. I like how you didn’t add butter the candied fruit. I did once and it tasted a little too full-bodied for me.

Seems so flavorful.
