The list is small, but powerful.

Buying direct from local farmers is not only a great way to cut down on packaging, preservatives, waste and shipping costs, it ensures freshness and supporting local business is key in an economy like ours.

Quality vs. Quantity. Great post!

Great list.

During the summer when I hit the Farmer’s Markets 1 is a lot easier but I just found a CSA that I want to try so it might get easier.

Cutting down on processed food is on-going challenge but I agree with you.

I actually do not buy bottle water and carry a re-usable bottle around with me. I found that to be a simple change to make.

I’d love to do composting but I think I’ll have to work on 1 and 2 first.
