Michael Pollan’s “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” changed my life; and Marcella Hazan’s “Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking” saved it – not to mention “Jamie’s Italy” and Edna Lewis’ “Taste of Country Cooking”. I’ve discovered brown rice, and was hoping that I might stumble across an Asian recipe book that has your seal of approval – alas! Something seems to be wrong with your “Books” page (instead of pictures, I get ‘Warning: simplexml_load_file()…etc, gobbledygook.’ Perhaps you’ve taken it down. Thanks for sharing, nevertheless!
